Marcy Brown

Marcy Brown is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. In this role she is responsible for Operations at both Hoag Hospital Newport Beach and Hoag Hospital Irvine. In addition, she oversees the Chief Nursing Officer and his teams as well as Lab, Pathology, Radiology, Pastoral Care, Community Medicine and the Hoag Urgent Care Network.

Prior to serving in her current role she was the Senior Vice President of Hoag Hospital Irvine and Ambulatory Operations. In addition to partnering with city, community and business leaders to ensure the successful launch of Hoag Hospital Irvine, she was instrumental in the strategic and operations planning for the launch of Hoag Health Center Irvine, Hoag Health Center Tustin Legacy and Hoag Health Center Foothill Ranch. In addition, she supported the Urgent Care leadership team as they significantly expanded their services throughout Orange County.

Ms. Brown joined Hoag in 2001 with over 10 years of experience in health care and the management of radiology operations. Prior to Hoag she was the Director of Medical Imaging at Swedish Medical Center – Providence Campus, Seattle Washington, where she managed the Medical Imaging Department, Radiation Oncology Department and the Comprehensive Breast Center.

Ms. Brown is a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and is Certified with the California Board of Radiology Technology. She currently serves on the Irvine Children’s Foundation Board of Directors and is active in many professional organizations including the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and the Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA).
