Hoag Recognized as 2025 Top Hospitals for Patient Experience by Healthgrades

Hoag has been recognized by Healthgrades as one of the 2025 Top Hospitals for Patient Experience. This award highlights hospitals that excel at providing top-quality care while ensuring a positive healthcare experience for patients.
Hoag is one of only 377 hospitals nationwide to receive this recognition and represents the top 15% of hospitals across the U.S. for patient experience.

Healthgrades evaluated Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient survey data with a focus on ten key patient experience measures. Recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Patient Experience Award earned the highest overall experience scores, reflecting an unwavering commitment to prioritizing positive person-centered care. As part of the 2025 analysis, Healthgrades identified three patient experience areas that best predict a patient’s likelihood to recommend a hospital to friends and family - doctor communication, nurse communication and clear communication about care when discharged.
